Glass facade beaming

Sunbeaming glass buildings are technically solarpunk, yet a little too far on random riot side. Bataille could have liked it.

One of the most famous cases of buildings that burn their surroundings is Walkie Talkie in London, designed by Rafael Vinoly. The fun part is that Rafael did it more than once. The serious part - we are wasting loads of energy when we are redirecting it unconsciously at random targets.

Diseny Concert Hall in LA by Frank Gehry also had some problems with that.

Another notorious case is Vdara hotel in Las Vegas, designed by the same architect Vinoly.

What would be a smart energy saving feature, if only they would think of managing it instead of simply complaining and blocking.
