Solarpunk imagery is often filled with similar-looking balloons, yet I never found information on feasible models. Probably price-efficiency ratio is not feasible, not mentioning technical challenges. This helium filled turbine seems to be developed for emergency situations to quickly provide energy and communication. It is claimed to generate over 50kW at 500m height. Such use case can justify much higher costs - and maybe can become a stepping stone for further development?
