NYC bureaucracy meets solarpunk

It was unexpected to find an example of real-world urban development grants of 2023 presented in the light of solarpunk movement. Kynsley Akens recognized its political and mobilizing energy and used it to spice up a project, which otherwise would have been so mundane. Quite a novelty in urban politics and planning. Curious how this, seemingly still niche keyword has performed, and if we can expect it to be used more often in other places.
