A new project using Solarpunk as a theme and driving logic.
The authors Bianca Buchold, Eric Buchold and Anthony Mason are from the fields of natural sciences and engineering services, and it is beautiful that they find value in working on hope (I prefer this term to “optimism”) and visionary thinking. The site provides a collection of actual urban projects, and is overall present the site like this:
Seeing the challenges humanity is facing today, we felt it was time to dedicate energy and experience to the Solarpunk movement. We will share an optimistic view of the future and demonstrate that Solarpunk is not only visionary but has already been gaining traction.
Based on our professional background, we understand technology and truly believe in its potential to address today’s issues to pave the way for a sustainable future for all beings on this planet.
Architectural design in solarpunk representations is inevitable, and here, as usually, we find a mixed bag of naive futurism and proper, real-life pragmatic eco-architecture.
